Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Deputy Manager-Supply Chain to lead category management and procurement of APIs, vitamins, and excipients. You will own end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor creation, PO processing in SAP, and adherence to compliance and reporting requirements.

• Manage bid proposals, documentation and supplier agreements.
• Oversee contract lifecycle and negotiate terms.
• Ensure timely procurement and supply continuity.
• Generate supplier performance reports and MIS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sites.

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for the development of category management strategies and procurement of raw materials – API, vitamins and excipients. End to end management of procurement related operations- procure to pay.

• Handling API, Vitamins & raw material procurement.
• Own all operational duty related to assigned category, Coordination with Shared Services for Vendor Creation, PO preparation, close Open PO/GR/Advance, and approve Purchase Orders in SAP, compliance and reporting.
• Evolve sourcing and procurement processes based on category specific business or internal stakeholder requirement.
• Manage bid proposals (RFI/RFP), requirements documentation (SOW), service level agreements (SLA), purchase/service agreements and other related documents.
• Contract life cycle management - Engage with stakeholders to identify the most suitable supply solution for a given demand.
• Ensure timely procurement and secure supply continuity.
• Negotiate pricing, terms & commercial conditions of contracts and manage through the contract lifecycle.
• Tracking and renewal on time Managing relationships with suppliers and alternate vendor development Monthly MIS reporting Work with cross functional teams of various Business units and sites.

Generate procurement and supplier performance reports.
