Job summary

HDFC Life is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead Bancassurance operations within our Bancassurance team. This role requires deep knowledge of bancassurance products and leadership to drive business growth.

You will oversee daily operations, manage a team of professionals, develop business plans, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Sales, and ensure regulatory alignment while delivering strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bancassurance products and services, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing high-performing teams.
• The successful candidate will be familiar with the Bancassurance business of Bandhan Bank and will have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Bancassurance department's daily operations and ensure alignment with the bank's overall strategy
• Lead and manage a team of Bancassurance professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
• Develop and implement Bancassurance business plans, identifying new opportunities and implementing risk management strategies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Risk Management, Compliance, and Sales teams, to drive business growth and minimize risk
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform Bancassurance product development and pricing strategies
• Manage Bancassurance product portfolios, including life, general, and health insurance products
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, agents, and brokers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting to track departmental progress and identify areas for improvement
