Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in India seeks an experienced SAP Finance – FI/CO specialist to lead hands-on configuration and support across GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, and S/4HANA finance modules. The role focuses on end-to-end FICO processes, integration with MM/SD/PP, and ensuring data integrity and compliant controls.

You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, and partners on implementations, migrations, and validation activities, delivering robust finance solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of hands‑on SAP FICO experience.
• Strong practical experience in SAP FI and CO processes.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, rollout, or major transformation program.
• Hands‑on SAP configuration experience is essential.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end Finance processes and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and coordinating with development teams.
• Experience in testing, defect management, cutover, and production support.
• Ability to independently analyze SAP issues and identify root causes.
• Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data relevant to Finance.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with Finance business users, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on expertise across SAP FI/CO processes including GL, AP, AR, AA, and related modules.
• Configure and support organizational structures, COA, fiscal year variants, posting periods, document types, and master data.
• Support integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, EAM, EWM, and other SAP components.
• Lead S/4HANA Finance architecture understanding and enable standard functionality.
• Work with interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems and ensure data integrity and reconciliation.
• Assist IT-CSV/QA during validation and ensure changes follow change-control procedures.

SAP Finance – FI

• Provide hands-on expertise across SAP Financial Accounting processes including:
  • General Ledger – GL
  • Accounts Payable – AP
  • Accounts Receivable – AR
  • Asset Accounting – AA
  • Bank Accounting
  • Cash and Bank Management
  • Tax accounting
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Foreign currency transactions and valuation
  • Period-end and year-end closing
• Configure and support organizational structures, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, document types, number ranges, and financial master data.
• Support incoming/outgoing payments, automatic payment programs, electronic bank statements, payment files, and bank integrations.
• Support customer/vendor financial processes and Business Partner integration in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, accruals, provisions, allocations, and statutory requirements.

SAP Controlling – CO

• Provide hands‑on expertise in relevant SAP Controlling areas such as:
  • Cost Centre Accounting
  • Profit Centre Accounting
  • Internal Orders
  • Product Costing
  • Profitability Analysis
  • Overhead Cost Controlling
  • Actual costing / Material Ledger where applicable
• Support planning, budgeting, allocation, settlement, variance calculation, and management reporting processes.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams on product costing and inventory valuation requirements.

SAP S/4HANA

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and key differences from SAP ECC.
