- Manage benchmarking shop floor activities and ensure efficient operation of the benchmarking facility.
- Plan and coordinate procurement of newly launched EV and ICE vehicles for benchmarking and competitive analysis.
- Perform complete vehicle dismantling and teardown activities for electric and internal combustion vehicles.
- Develop module-wise understanding of vehicle systems, including powertrain, chassis, body, electronics, interiors, and thermal systems.
- Conduct component inspection and dimensional validation using CMM, 3D scanning, and other metrology equipment.
- Maintain and update inspection records, measurement results, and benchmarking databases in designated systems.
- Support vehicle and component reassembly activities to validate functionality, fitment, and engineering learnings.
- Perform vehicle and component weight measurements, vehicle layout studies, and material identification analysis.
- Conduct vehicle testing and collect data related to driving performance, braking, low-speed, and high-speed evaluations.
- Carry out exterior, interior, and Body-in-White (BIW) scanning activities for benchmarking and reverse engineering studies.
- Collect, analyze, and document dynamic and static vehicle data to support product development activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to meet benchmarking, engineering, and project requirements.
- Manage engineering data storage, documentation, backup, and traceability of benchmarking information.
- Perform ergonomic assessments, occupant packaging studies, and H-point measurements to support vehicle development and design optimization.

Qualifications
Diploma or BE (Mechanical/automobile/Mechatronics engineering)

- Working knowledge about DVP/DFMEA/APQP etc.
- Functional & Technical knowledge about
- - Failure analysis in Passenger EV vehicle
- - Wear & tear measurements of brakes, tyres etc
- - Shop floor management (Technician & drivers)
- - Knowledge on electric vehicles drive train & Passenger vehicle suspension, brakes & other aggregates
- 5. Functional knowledge on Vehicle performance parameters.
