Job summary

Eaton Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee UPS and data center projects on site. You will work with sales, PMC, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, proper documentation, and successful handover to customers.

The role involves on-site commissioning, vendor coordination, risk management, and opportunities to expand service revenue. A background in Electrical/Electronics with relevant project experience is required.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or BE/BTech required.
• BE in Electrical/Electronics with 3-4 yrs experience or Diploma with 5-6 yrs experience.

Responsibilities

• Study project BOM, configuration, and site wiring layouts and implement on site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to keep project aligned and progressing.
• Own commissioning, handover to customer, and ensure proper documentation handover with sales team.
• Coordinate with vendors, electrical consultants and PMC staff ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Regularly update SCM, Quality, Logistics and stakeholders on progress, challenges and scope changes.
• Address technical issues to keep project on track and train customer facility teams onsite.
• Identify business opportunities to generate enquiries for panels, cables and accessories.
• Search for risks and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Handle Data Center and Large IT Segment Projects.
• Prepare project planner and ensure on-time deadlines.

Job description

What you ll do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven project engineer to join our team. The project engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This role requires a strong understanding of 3 phase UPS, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

1. 1. Study and understand project BOM, Configuration, Site Wiring Site Layout from Sales team and implement the same on site.
2. 2. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
3. 3. Own the commissioning process handing over of the project. to the cusotmer.
4. 4. Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports. Also ensuring proper handing over of documents in co-ordination with sales team at the end of the project.
5. 5. Co-ordination with various vendors, Electrical Consultants and PMC s including project meetings and project execution ensuring all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.
6. 6. Co-ordination with internal support functions of Eaton like SCM, Quality, Logistics and regularly updating key stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in scope.
7. 7. Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
8. 5. Involved in onsite training to Customers facility team.
9. 7. To search for various business opportunities to increase service revenue by means of generating enquiries for panels, cables, accessories etc.
10. 8. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
11. 9. Responsible to handle Data Center and Large IT Segment Projects..
12. 10. preparing project plannner and meeting dead line of Project On Time
13. 11. Responsible for cordinate for l2 , L3 and L4 Activity during SAT
14. 12 Knowledge about basic oparation and SAT demonstarion of Online 3 Phase UPS higher capcity up to 1200 KVA UPS

Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma or BE or BTech
• BE in Electrical / Electronics with 3-4 yrs of experience in same field or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics with 5-6 yrs of experience in the same field.

Skills:

• Electrical, Electronics knowledge is a must
