Job summary

Motherson Automotive Technologies and Engineering (MATE) in Gujarat, India is seeking an experienced maintenance specialist with hands-on skills in conveyor systems, electrical panels, Siemens PLC/SCADA/Drive, and paint shop equipment.

The ideal candidate will drive 5S, predictive and preventive maintenance, spare parts management, and SAP purchase requisition processes, implementing ideas to improve automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with conveyor systems, electrical panel installation, and Siemens PLC/SCADA/Drive systems.
• Proficiency in maintaining paint shop equipment (baking ovens, ASU, conveyors, painting booths, ABB robots).
• Ability to read electrical panel drawings and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 5S adherence and drive preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage spare parts and drive continuous improvement in automation.
• Lead procurement-related activities using SAP for purchase requisitions.
