Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for its automotive/manufacturing operations in Nagpur.

The candidate will develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, monitor critical metrics like MTTR/MTBF, and lead TPM/RCM initiatives to ensure safety and quality across machine shop equipment. The role requires hands‑on experience with CNC machines, Mitsubishi and Fanuc controllers, SAP PM/MM, ARIBA, and strong data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CNC machines with Mitsubishi & Fanuc controllers.
• Experience with Makino HMC and Mazak HMC.
• Technical knowledge of special purpose machines.
• Knowledge of conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic testing machines.
• Working and programming knowledge of Mitsubishi & PLC.
• Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance plans for machine shop equipment.
• Audit documents for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.
• Proficiency in SAP PM & MM.
• MS Office and ARIBA experience.
• Strong written & verbal communication.
• Data analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Problem solving & critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Handle breakdowns on a daily basis.
• Monitor MTTR, MTBF and breakdown incidents.
• Implement TPM, RCM, ISO, OHSAS & TS practices.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures and optimize costs without compromising safety or quality.

• Working and programming knowledge of Mitsubishi & PLC.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance plans for all Machine Shop Equipment.
• Monitoring the Organization Policy Implementation in Department. Maintain Audit Documents for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.
• Proficiency in SAP modules such as PM & MM is must
• Hands - On Experience in MS Office
• Hands-on experience in SAP/ARIBA
