Job summary

Axis Max Life Insurance is seeking a CA with 2+ years of experience in financial reporting to handle regulatory and statutory reporting, including IRDAI and SEBI requirements, as well as consolidation of financial statements.

The role involves internal and statutory audit support, public disclosures, and coordinating with IT for system enhancements and testing. Strong knowledge of IND AS 117 and Indian accounting standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Life Insurance experience in financial reporting is preferred.
• Familiar with IND AS 117, Indian accounting practices and SEBI/IRDAI regulations.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory reporting to IRDAI, SEBI, and Life Counsel.
• Consolidation and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare public disclosures and BAP reporting.
• Provide data to management as required for reports.
• Support statutory/internal audits and audit committee materials.
• Assist in system testing, enhancements, and CRs to IT.

Role Summary:

Regulatory Reporting to IRDAI/Life Counsel/SEBI Compliance Internal, Management and Statutory reporting. Management of audits statutory and internal Support in preparation of quarterly / annual financial statements System Maintenance, testing, new development, etc.

Role & Responsibilities:

Regulatory reporting

1) Preparation of reports for submission to IRDAI/SEBI/Life counsel, providing information/details required by IRDAI/Life counsel etc.

2) Consolidation and Preparation of Financial Statements

3) Public Disclosures

4) BAP Reporting

Management reporting

Providing data to management as and when required

Internal reporting

Providing data to Actuaries, MIS Team

Managing Audits

Support to Statutory/Internal auditors

Audit Committee

Preparation of data for the deck, other items and closure of audit committee actionable.

System Enhancements

Testing of system requirements, evaluate new requirements and providing CRs to IT, liase with IT for resolution of defects and delivery, testing of requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with 2+ years' of relevant experience
• Life Insurance experience in Financial Reporting
• Knowledge of IND AS 117, Indian Accounting Practices, Standards and SEBI/IRDAI Regulations
