Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a hands-on Deputy Manager Fabrication (Production) to lead fabrication and production operations at the Vadodara plant. The role demands strong execution, manpower leadership, and deep exposure to fabrication processes, including welding and press brake operations.

You will drive daily/monthly targets, manage safety, SOPs and ISO 9001:2015 compliance, coordinate material indents, and push Kaizen and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on shopfloor leadership experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Exposure to steel fabrication (SS, MS) and welding processes.
• Experience with ISO documentation and safety compliance.
• Strong execution capability and manpower handling on shopfloor.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily/monthly production & dispatch targets.
• Supervise fabrication, welding, machining & press brake operations.
• Manage shopfloor manpower, shifts, productivity & discipline.
• Ensure safety, SOP, ISO & quality compliance.
• Plan BOQ-based raw material indents & inventory coordination.
• Drive Kaizen, downtime reduction & process improvement.
• Coordinate with tool room for inspections, trials & R&D support.
• Candidate from SS tank fabrication industry is preferred.
