Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Deputy Manager - CDMM Engines to drive parts development per APQP, track FTGs, and finalize proto/serial production with suppliers. The role involves PFMEA, MSA and SPC, supplier audits, and training suppliers to elevate capabilities.

The candidate should have a BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engg, strong leadership, and fluent English with 3–7 years in automotive engine/component development. Travel may be frequent.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engg from a reputed college.
• Strong analytical & leadership skills with quality focus.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, MSA & SPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop parts as per APQP methodology and track FTG development.
• Finalize processes for proto and serial production with suppliers, including PFMEA.
• Conduct supplier audits to finalize new sources and identify gaps in existing sources.
• Provide technical assistance, training and guidance to suppliers; prepare MIS as required.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Responsibilities & Key deliverables Development of parts as per the APQP methodology. Tracking of FTGs development. Process finalization (Proto & Serial production) with supplier with PFMEA along with FTG concept design, planning & calibration. Supplier Audits for finalization of new source / identifying the gaps of existing source. Drawing understanding, GD&T knowledge Hands on practice on PPAP, MSA & SPC Fair knowledge of commodities like plastic moulding, rubber hoses, Metal pipes, casting machining. Enhance competencies of supplier by providing technical assistance to supplier including training, counselling, guiding etc. Prepare MIS as required. Develop synergy within / outside department & with supplier. Follow QMS requirements for CDMM department.. Experience Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience as Automobile industry on Engine, Casting (Al & GCI), Machining, Precise Machining, Pipes, Rubber as a Development Engineer Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications BE preferably in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engg from reputed College.
