Job summary

Eaton India in Maharashtra seeks a Diploma-qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead plant electrical activities, maximize uptime, and manage maintenance costs. You will plan preventive maintenance, monitor energy use, and drive safety and reliability across utilities and machinery.

The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience, familiarity with IATF 16949 and PLC/robotics tooling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet plant goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10–15 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or similar.
• Experience with IATF 16949, PLCs and robotics is preferred.
• Strong technical and safety compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental electrical activities to maximize uptime and control costs.
• Achieve desired uptime for plant machinery and equipment.
• Analyze and reduce electricity consumption; implement energy-saving measures.
• Plan preventive maintenance and electrical budgets.
• Provide timely solutions for safety, quality, and major breakdowns; liaise with authorities as needed.
