Job summary

Eaton Group is looking for a Production & Quality lead in Maharashtra to drive targeted output while maintaining quality norms. The role requires coordinating resources from ME, QA, Purchase and Stores, and applying Six Sigma, Lean and 5S principles to improve processes.

The incumbent will mentor the team, monitor processes, and implement new systems daily to boost productivity and reduce rework. Strong analytical and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma, 5S and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to coordinate resources from ME, QA, Purchase and Stores.

Responsibilities

• Achieve targeted output within quality norms.
• Arrange manpower as per load and give first piece approval.
• Monitor SPC, daily checklist and hourly monitoring.
• Motivate team and develop skills; delegate tasks and promote teamwork.
• Multiskill team members and tackle line bottlenecks with plans.
• Implement new systems daily and encourage the team.
• Counsel team to boost line productivity and direct line production.
• Drive awareness and implementation of 5S across the line.

Job description

What you’ll do:

Eaton announced, on June 11, 20206, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

• a. To achieve targeted output at all operations within quality norms,
• b. To arrange man power as per load.
• c. To give first piece approval.
• d. To monitoring spc, daily checklist sheet, hourly monitoring sheet.
• e. To motivate team members , by developing there skills and delegating them
  Specific responsibilities. & to explain them importance or power of team work.
• f. Multi –skilling the team members.
• g. Daily rework and rejection analysis. Discussion with team members on the same.
• h. To concentrate on line bottleneck operations. & to make plan on that how to overcome.
• i. To implement the new system on daily basis. And encourage to team members.
• j. To counsel the team members for boosting the productivity of the line.
• k. To Dictate the team for the line production , rejections ,by taking
  Necessary actions.
• l. To bring awareness among the team members for effective implementation
  of 5 ‘ s.
• m. Daily review of final inspection details with team members in meeting.
• n. To collect the team member problem’s and try to solve the problems as possible as.

Qualifications:

• - DME WITH 8-9YRS EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCTION & QUALITY FIELD

Skills:

The individual in this position must be able to pull in resources from all departments (ME, QA , PURCHASE ,STORES ) to effective solve problems in the plant quickly and effectively. The individual must take ownership for manufacturing and issues related to making a quality product in a timely and cost effective manner.
