Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Limited - Hansalpur plant invites applications for Civil Department. Candidates with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience and Civil Engineering background are encouraged to apply, with expertise in maintenance of large plants.

You will analyze plans, oversee surveys, and manage infrastructure maintenance while coordinating manpower to ensure smooth operations. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and reading civil drawings is desirable.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineer degree from a reputed college.
• Knowledge of Autocad 2D and civil drawing/design concepts.
• Ability to read and review civil drawings/designs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze long range plans, survey reports, maps to plan and design projects.
• Manage repair, maintenance, and replacement of company infrastructure.
• Consider construction costs, regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors during planning and risk-analysis stages.
• Oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
• Analyze tests on building materials (concrete, wood, asphalt, steel) for use in projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor to determine feasibility.
• Use design software to plan transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures per standards.
• Perform surveying to establish building locations, layouts, reference points, grades, elevations.
• Operate SAP, CARRAR, and other platforms to ensure workflow.
• Coordinate manpower to ensure smooth operations and timely goals.
• Encourage junior staff and strengthen collaboration.

MSIL – Hansalpur is also home of Maruti Suzuki’s prestigious e-Vitara, the first EV of Maruti Suzuki in world. The plant proudly exported the e-Vitara to more than 165 countries so far. About the Role

MSIL Hansalpur plant is inviting applications for their Civil department. Candidates from “Civil Engineering” from reputed Engineering College with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience and have expertise in handling Service & Maintenance of big Plants can apply.

Responsibilities

• Analyze long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design projects.
• Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of company infrastructure.
• Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors during the planning and risk-analysis stages of a project.
• Oversee and analyze the results of soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
• Analyze the results of tests on building materials, such as concrete, wood, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor to determine a project's economic feasibility.
• Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
• Perform or oversee surveying operations to establish building locations, site layouts, reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
• Able to understand and effectively operate SAP, CARRAR, and other platforms to ensure a smooth workflow process.
• Responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively supervising and coordinating manpower to ensure smooth operations, optimal resource utilization, and timely achievement of organizational goals.
• Encourage and inspire junior staff, build a positive work culture, and strengthen collaboration to achieve collective goals.
