Job summary

FootPath, Inc. in Kanpur Dehat is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee end-to-end operations of the TSDF facility, including incineration, landfill management, waste treatment, and compliance with CPCB/SPCB standards.

The role requires leadership, safety oversight, and coordination with logistics, lab and compliance teams. Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental/Civil Eng or MSc in Chemistry is required, with a minimum of 9 years in waste management or industrial operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental/Civil Engineering or MSc in Chemistry required.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in waste management, process plant, cement, power or industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations including incineration, landfill, stabilization and waste storage
• Ensure full compliance with CPCB, SPCB and environmental regulations
• Manage plant manpower, supervisors and contractors
• Ensure 24×7 plant availability and operational efficiency
• Monitor safety systems, fire protection and emergency preparedness
• Control plant production, capacity utilization and cost efficiency
• Oversee waste receipt, treatment, disposal and documentation
• Coordinate with logistics, lab and compliance teams
• Handle statutory inspections, audits and customer visits
• Drive continuous improvement in plant performance and processes

About the Role

The Plant Manager will be responsible for end-to-end operations of the TSDF facility including incineration, secured landfill, waste treatment, compliance, safety, manpower management and customer coordination, ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant plant operations.
