Job summary

Adani Group in Mundra, Gujarat, is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing/Process Operations Lead for solar cell production. You will oversee manufacturing processes to meet production, quality, and yield targets, and drive improvements across the line.

We expect 5-8 years of relevant experience in solar/semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing, with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, RCA, and cross-functional collaboration. Join us to scale-up technology and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics).
• 5-8 years in manufacturing/processing operations, preferably Solar Cell Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Electronics or High-Tech Manufacturing.
• Experience in process optimization, SPC, RCA, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of solar cell manufacturing processes, process control systems, quality management, and production excellence.
• Proven experience leading teams and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee solar cell manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, and yield targets.
• Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions to maintain stable and efficient operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce losses, and optimize manufacturing costs.
• Analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for process enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Technology teams for seamless operations.
• Lead troubleshooting activities related to process deviations, equipment performance, and product quality issues.
• Support new process implementation, technology upgrades, and scale-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and promote a safe working culture within the department.
• Mentor and develop team members, driving capability building and performance improvement.
