Job summary

Adani Enterprises Ltd in Mundra, India, is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee solar cell manufacturing processes, aiming for target production, quality and yield. The role involves monitoring parameters, driving improvements, and coordinating across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Technology teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting process deviations, supporting new process implementations and ensuring EHS compliance.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing/process operations, preferably in Solar Cell Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Electronics, or High-Tech Manufacturing industries.
• Experience in process optimization, yield improvement, SPC, RCA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions to maintain stable and efficient operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce losses, and optimize manufacturing costs.
• Analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for process enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Technology teams for seamless operations.
• Lead troubleshooting activities related to process deviations, equipment performance, and product quality issues.
• Support new process implementation, technology upgrades, and scale-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and promote a safe working culture within the department.
• Mentor and develop team members, driving capability building and performance improvement.

• Knowledge of EHS standards, compliance requirements, and industrial safety practices.
