Job summary

Propel Industries in Coimbatore seeks an experienced procurement leader to own global sourcing for EV electrical/electronic commodities. You will identify Tier-1 suppliers, negotiate terms, and optimize total cost of ownership across borders.

The role requires 10+ years in automotive or EV sourcing, hands-on experience with EV batteries or wiring harnesses, and strong knowledge of Incoterms and supplier contracts. BE/BTech in relevant fields; MBA a plus.

• Cost & Negotiations: Drive global cost optimization, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and tough commercial negotiations.
• Supply Chain Risk: Manage cross-border logistics, import-export compliance, and lead-time risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Quality, and Engineering teams for new product development.

Must-Have Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Global Procurement / International Sourcing within Automotive or EV manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience sourcing EV Batteries or Wiring Harnesses.
• Strong knowledge of global trade, Incoterms, and supplier contract management.
• B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical); MBA in Supply Chain/International Business is a plus.
