• Ensure prompt month closing, prepare P&L and Balance Sheet, and load trial balance in corporate portal by deadline.
• Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts/budgets and report reasons to management.
• Motivate and supervise the finance team for earlier month-close completion before loading day.
• Ensure compliance with minimum control procedures.
• Manage internal, statutory and compliance audits.
• Manage the business plan and forecasts.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure Prompt month closing, preparation of Profit and Loss Account and Balance sheet and ensure month-on-month successful and accurate loading of the trial balance in the corporate portal along with other necessary reports on or before the appropriate day fixed by management.
• Analysis, the variance between the actual accounting figure with that of the forecast/budget and report the management the reason for variations.
• Motivate and monitor the finance team in earlier completion of month close activity ahead of loading day.
• Ensure compliance of Minimum Control Procedures
• Manage internal audit; statutory audit and compliance audit
• Manage Business plan and forecast.
