Job summary

Patanjali Foods Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, GL, and reconciliations.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, help drive GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for management, while leading the finance team and ensuring process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Handle monthly closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reports for management.
• Assist in implementing and improving financial controls and accounting processes.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and guide the finance & accounts team in day-to-day activities.
