Job summary

Century Plyboards (I) Limited in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, is seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee regional operations, including warehousing, dispatch, inbound and outbound movements. You will ensure timely deliveries, manage large warehouses, and drive cost optimization.

You will coordinate with procurement, planning, and customer service, ensure SAP transactions are accurate, and prepare MIS reports on costs, inventory, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in regional logistics operations and warehousing.
• Familiarity with SAP transactions (GRN, stock movement, invoicing).
• Ability to prepare MIS reports on costs, inventory, and service levels.
• Strong vendor/transporter management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional logistics operations including warehousing, dispatch, inbound, and outbound movements.
• Manage large warehouses with control over manpower, productivity, and safety.
• Coordinate with transporters and ensure timely deliveries as per SLA.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock aging, and damage/loss prevention.
• Ensure SAP transactions related to logistics are accurate and timely.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports on logistics cost, warehouse performance, and service levels.
• Drive process improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with sales, planning, and customer service teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and audit requirements.
• Handle vendor and transporter performance reviews and negotiations where required.
