Job summary

Adani Power is seeking a Finance professional to align with business objectives and manage timely closing of financial books. You will liaise with statutory auditors, ensure statutory filings, and support BUs with financial data while coordinating with tax consultants on tax compliance and litigation matters.

The role requires CA qualification with 3–7 years of relevant experience, plus knowledge of Ind AS, CARO, GST, SEBI LODR, and SAP. Work location is in Ahmedabad district, India.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Experience with Ind AS, Sch III, CARO, GST and SEBI LODR is expected

Responsibilities

• Align with business objectives and interact with BU for matters concerning financial statements
• Timely closing of monthly, quarterly and annual books of accounts
• Liaise with statutory auditors for limited reviews and annual closure
• Ensure timely filing of XBRL and other statutory filings as per accounting policies
• Provide ad-hoc data support to BUs with respect to financials
• Coordinate with tax consultants on compliance, advisory, and tax litigations
• Prepare audit schedules in line with statutory liabilities and respond to audit queries
