Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions Pvt Ltd in Gujarat seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and safe plant execution of a chemical manufacturing facility. You will ensure production targets are met daily, uphold food safety standards (FSSC, FSSAI, ISO, GMP), and lead safety, quality, and cost optimization initiatives.

Key focus areas include supply chain, inventory, equipment availability, continuous improvement, and team leadership with regular performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and safe plant execution of the chemical manufacturing plant.
• Ensure production targets and schedules achieved daily.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety standards FSSC, FSSAI, ISO, GMP, etc.
• Oversee plant safety programs and ensure that all employees are trained on safety protocols and best practices.
• Monitor safety performance and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure that products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues or discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain systems for quality control and continuous improvement in production.
• Monitor and optimize material balance, energy consumption, and other operational costs.
• Identify areas of cost reduction without compromising on product quality or safety.
• Work closely with engineering team ensure overall equipment availability
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate raw materials are available for production.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to maintain effective supply chain operations.
• Ensure efficient distribution of finished goods.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor QA processes and ensure product quality.
• Resource Management: Optimize use of materials and energy.
• Supply Chain and Inventory Management: Coordinate procurement and stocking.
