Job summary

Technip Energies in Gandhinagar seeks an Associate OR Deputy Chief Engineer Process Design to lead our process engineering team. The role emphasizes refining, petrochem, and chemical project execution with emphasis on P&IDs, datasheets, and safety compliance.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure project standards while supporting procurement and site activities. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 18–22 years experience in process design for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery projects.
• Experience with refinery units such as Hydrocrackers, FCCU, DCU.
• Hands-on experience with petrochemical units like Ethylene crackers and polypropylene.
• Expertise in developing and reviewing P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and process schemes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for refinery, petrochemical, and chemical projects.
• Finalize process schemes and review P&IDs; ensure compliance with project specs.
• Prepare and review instrument datasheets and process flow diagrams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process engineering teams and area leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee process engineering activities for refinery, petrochemical, and chemical projects.
• Finalize process schemes, develop and review P&IDs, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare and review instrument datasheets, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process engineering teams and area leads.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project management, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
• Support procurement and construction teams with technical clarifications and site support.
