Job summary

Novumgen is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain rolling forecasts, align demand with supply, and optimize inventory across our operations in Vadodara, India. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure timely deliveries and product availability.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in ERP systems and Power BI, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities. This is an on-site position based in Vadodara.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotions to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, Sales, BDS, QA, Strategic Alliance, and Procurement to align forecasts with delivery needs.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels; recommend replenishment strategies to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Utilize ERP systems, Power BI, and Advanced Excel for demand tracking, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Support product launch planning by aligning forecasts with timelines and production readiness.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and CMOs/CDMOs to ensure timely production schedules and deliveries.
• Assist QA with supplier onboarding, revalidation, stock review, and inventory reconciliation.
• Work with customer service to address supply-related concerns and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate demand planning records and documentation to support decision-making.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rollingdemand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to ensure forecast accuracy and business continuity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Sales, Business Development, Quality Assurance, Strategic Alliance, and Procurement teams to align demand forecasts with product availability and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels regularly and recommend replenishment strategies to prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.
• Utilize ERP systems, Power BI, and Advanced Excel fordemand tracking, delivery monitoring, reporting, data analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Support product launch planning activities by aligning demand forecasts with launch timelines, production readiness, and supply chain requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and CMOs/CDMOs to ensure timely production schedules, product availability, and on-time deliveries.
• Assist the Quality Assurance team in supplier onboarding, revalidation activities, stock review, and inventory reconciliation processes.
• Work closely with customer service teams to address supply-related concerns and ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer support.
• Maintain accurate demand planning records, reports, and documentation to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
