Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Bengaluru sucht eine/n Demand & Capacity Manager, der die Bedarfs- und Kapazitätsplanung in einem bereichsübergreifenden Team koordiniert. Sie arbeiten eng mit Einkauf, Lieferantenmanagement, Modellmanagement, Entwicklung, Vertrieb, AMG und VAN zusammen und wandeln technische Dokumentation in Sales-Offer-Logik um.

Idealerweise verfügen Sie über ein technisches oder betriebswirtschaftliches Studium, sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie Erfahrung in

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes technisches oder wirtschaftliches Studium.
• Berufserfahrung in Programmplanung, Lieferantenmanagement, Vertrieb oder Logistik.
• Gutes Verständnis des Verkaufsauftragsprozesses, Lieferkettenmanagement und Projektmanagement.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere Excel.
• Gute Kenntnisse von SAP/KBM.
• Integrations- und Teamfähigkeit.
• Analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten.

Responsibilities

• Koordination der Bedarfs- und Kapazitätsplanung im Ausschreibungsprozess.
• Ganzheitliche Abstimmung mit Einkauf, Lieferantenmanagement, Modellmanagement, Entwicklung, Vertrieb, AMG und VAN.
• Bestimmung von Menge und Kapazitätsbedarf für neue Produktprojekte.
• Umsetzung der Sales Offer-Logik aus technischer Dokumentation.
• Überprüfung der Plausibilität von Demand-Varianten anhand Code-Regeln.
• Durchführung von Kapazitätsabfragen in mehreren Phasen des Ausschreibungsprozesses.
• Sicherstellung frühzeitiger Lieferantenkapazität durch Change-Management.

Role – Demand & Capacity manager

This is what you can expect from us:

• You will be part of a cross-team project team in which you will be responsible for the topics of supply of the awardprocess(VVP) and change managementcapacitydesign(ÄmKap)
• You will manage the holistic coordination ofrequirementsassessment in a cross-functional environment with specialist purchasing, supplier management, modellinemanagement, development, sales, AMGand VAN
• You will be responsible for the complexprocessof determining quantity and capacityrequirementsas part of the award preparation for allMercedes-BenzCarsarchitectures
• Through a very good understanding of the technicaldocumentation, you will transfer it into thesalesoffer logic in order to enable an evaluation by sales.
• Using your basic mathematical understanding (Boolean algebra), you will set updemandvariantsdepending on the code rules and check their plausibility with regard to theinstallationrates
• You will determine quantity and capacityrequirementsfor newproduct projectsand modelupdatesusing strategic production planning figures
• You will be responsible for the management and determination of (capacity)requirementsover severalphasesof the awardprocess- supplier selection, industrialization and supplier capacity queries
• You clarify inconsistencies with partner areas to ensure a successful (capacity) needs assessment

You will provide essential added value for securing supplier capacity already in the earlyphaseand secure it sustainably through appropriatechange management

Ideally, you qualify for this job with:

• Completed studies with a technical/businessadministrationbackground
• Professional experience in programplanning, supplier management, sales or logistics
• Sound knowledge of the sales orderprocess, supply chain management and project management, project experience, productdocumentation
• Very good knowledge of German and English
