Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited in Bangalore is seeking a Demand & Capacity Planner to join a cross-functional team. You will coordinate requirements assessment across purchasing, supplier management, development, sales, and manufacturing, and help determine quantity and capacity needs for award preparation.

Qualificações

• Completed studies with technical or business administration background.
• Experience in program planning, supplier management, sales or logistics.
• Sound knowledge of sales order process, supply chain and project management.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP/KBM and Dialogue system.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate requirements assessment across purchasing, supplier management, development, sales, AMG and VAN.
• Manage holistic coordination of requirements assessment in cross-functional environment.
• Determine quantity and capacity requirements for award preparation for all Mercedes-Benz Cars architectures.
• Translate technical documentation into sales offer logic for evaluation by Sales.
• Set demand variants based on code rules and check plausibility with installation rates.
• Determine quantity and capacity requirements for new product projects and model updates using strategic production planning figures.
• Manage capacity requirements across supplier selection, industrialization and supplier capacity queries.
• Clarify inconsistencies with partner areas to ensure a successful needs assessment.
• Provide added value for securing supplier capacity early and sustain it through change management.

Role – Demand & Capacity manager

This is what you can expect from us:

• You will be part of a cross-team project team in which you will be responsible for the topics of supply of the awardprocess(VVP) andchange managementcapacitydesign(ÄmKap)
• You will manage the holistic coordination ofrequirementsassessment in a cross-functional environment with specialist purchasing, supplier management, modellinemanagement,development, sales,AMGand VAN
• You will be responsible for the complexprocessof determining quantity and capacityrequirementsas part of the award preparation for allMercedes-BenzCarsarchitectures
• Through a very good understanding of the technicaldocumentation, you will transfer it into thesalesoffer logic in order to enable an evaluation by sales.
• Using your basic mathematical understanding (Boolean algebra), you will set updemandvariantsdepending on the code rules and check their plausibility with regard to theinstallationrates
• You will determine quantity and capacityrequirementsfor newproduct projectsand modelupdatesusing strategic production planning figures
• You will be responsible for the management and determination of (capacity)requirementsover severalphasesof the awardprocess- supplier selection, industrialization and supplier capacity queries
• You clarify inconsistencies with partner areas to ensure a successful (capacity) needs assessment
• You will provide essential added value for securing supplier capacity already in the earlyphaseand secure it sustainably through appropriatechange management

Ideally, you qualify for this job with:

• Completed studies with a technical/ business administration background
• Professional experience in program planning, supplier management, sales or logistics
• Sound knowledge of the sales order process , supply chain management and project management, project experience, product documentation
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, esp. Excel
