Job summary

Data Sutram is seeking a Delivery Specialist to own end-to-end technical implementation and delivery for merchant, partner, and enterprise integrations across our payments and lending ecosystem.

This hybrid IC role combines hands-on integration work (APIs, SDKs, onboarding) with delivery planning, go-live, and hypercare support, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payment gateway/fintech integration support or merchant solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT.
• Hands-on troubleshooting APIs/SDKs (Android/iOS/Web) and payment flows.
• Ownership of enterprise merchant/partner accounts as an IC; no direct reports.
• Strong client-facing track record with TSPs, aggregators, partnerships.
• Familiar with Agile/hybrid PMO practices and tools: JIRA, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Confluence, Postman.
• Experience building dashboards/reports for integration performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding BFSI payments ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration lifecycle: requirement gathering, solutioning, API/SDK integration support, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment flows.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and Customer Success to ensure timely integration outcomes.
• Serve as primary contact for enterprise merchants, TSPs, aggregators, and partnerships.
• Share knowledge through onboarding sessions and documentation as an IC.
• Build dashboards to track integration performance metrics and flag risks.
• Collaborate with Sales/Business and client stakeholders on program updates and CRM/ticketing requirements.
• Champion project management and support tooling: JIRA, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Confluence, Postman/Swagger.
• Own and validate developer-facing integration docs.

Role Overview:

The Delivery Specialist will own end-to-end technical implementation and delivery for merchant, partner, and enterprise integrations across our payments and lending ecosystem. This is a hybrid individual-contributor role: part hands-on technical integration owner (APIs, SDKs, platform onboarding), part delivery specialist driving requirement gathering, integration planning, go-live, and hypercare support directly, without managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Integration Ownership: Own the full merchant/partner integration lifecycle requirement gathering, solutioning, API/SDK integration support, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Technical Depth: Hands-on troubleshooting of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment flows (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, tokenization, subscriptions/autopay, payouts, checkout) directly with merchant/partner/engineering teams.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Steer Product, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and Customer Success teams toward timely, high-quality integration outcomes.
• Client & Partner Success: Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise merchants, TSPs, aggregators, and partnership integrations, ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term success.
• Knowledge Sharing: Act as a senior go-to resource for integration issues; contribute to structured knowledge transfer sessions and onboarding of newer team members (as an IC, not a people manager).
• Visibility & Reporting: Build dashboards to track merchant/integration performance metrics; establish clear roles & responsibilities; flag risks and bottlenecks early.
• Stakeholder & Sales Alignment: Partner with Sales/Business teams and client stakeholders on program updates; define requirements for CRM/ticketing systems (Salesforce, JIRA, Freshdesk) used by integration teams.
• Process & Tools: Champion project management and support tooling (JIRA, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Confluence, Postman/Swagger) to improve transparency and planning efficiency.
• Documentation: Own and validate developer-facing integration documentation and API docs for accuracy and timeliness.
• Outcome Orientation: Tie every initiative to company OKRs, with focus on go-live timelines, merchant satisfaction, and business outcomes over outputs.

Qualifications That We Look For:

Must-Have:

• 4+ years of experience in payment gateway/fintech integration support, technical implementation, or merchant solutions roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
• Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting APIs and SDKs (Android/iOS/Web) and payment flows (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, tokenization).
• Hands-on ownership of enterprise merchant/partner accounts as an individual contributor, working closely with cross-functional teams (this role has no direct reports).
• Strong client-facing track record; experience partnering with TSPs, aggregators, and partnership/marketplace models.
• Working knowledge of project/program management practices (Agile/hybrid, PMO practices) and tools such as JIRA, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Confluence, Postman.
• Experience building dashboards/reports to track merchant or integration performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the lending/banking or broader BFSI payments ecosystem preferred.

Good to have:

working knowledge of Swift/Python/C/C++, e-commerce plugin integrations (WooCommerce, Shopify, Opencart), and log-analysis tooling.
