Delivery Manager
As a Delivery Manager at LotusFlare, you will lead customer‑facing projects to ensure that the right solution is designed, developed, tested, and deployed within customer expectations, and that project goals and objectives are well defined and achieved.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pre‑sales meetings and contract preparations.
- Ensure that best practices and defined project management processes and standards are adhered to for assigned projects with respect to scoping and planning, issue management, risk management, change management, quality management, and more.
- Collaboratively define and document the project scope, key milestones, and dependencies, establishing the project plan baseline.
- Define clear deliverables and roles/responsibilities for all assigned project team members.
- Secure the necessary resources to execute the project plan.
- Work with LotusFlare’s internal engineering and design teams and with customer technical teams to ensure best practices are followed and optimal solutions are selected and developed.
- Drive project execution, track delivery, take ownership of change management, and proactively seek and resolve blockers.
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of LotusFlare personnel assigned to the project while ensuring all team members progress toward established milestones.
- Conduct regular meetings to determine progress and address any challenges, issues, or questions regarding assigned projects.
- Prepare and provide periodic updates and status reports to internal and client leaders.
- Manage UAT and production releases, as well as project handover to operational support teams.
- Participate in a Global Delivery Team, share experiences, and develop the PM discipline within LotusFlare to improve processes, methods, and tools with creative ideas.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Work with collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Trello, and others.
- Run daily rituals such as scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross‑functional team, monitor issue progress, and provide solutions for the development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Information, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other relevant major.
- 8+ years experience in Project Management within a technical and/or software development environment, preferably in telecommunications and with exposure to product engineering teams as well as BSS/OSS development and integration.
- Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Demonstrated deep understanding of foundational Project Management processes, strategies, tools, and methods.
- A solid foundation in service‑oriented and digital technologies to understand service inter‑dependencies and technical solutions for multi‑tiered systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with cross‑organizational communication.
- Experience delivering products against a plan in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplined, and often ambiguous environment.
- Ability to design, plan, and execute technical projects independently.
- Skill in distilling data and articulating trade‑offs when making difficult decisions.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence tools, preferably with proficiency using Jira Roadmaps for project planning and tracking.
- Additional certification and experience as a Scrum Master using Agile methodology is an asset.
