Overview
LotusFlare is a provider of cloud-native SaaS products based in Silicon Valley. Our platform, Digital Network Operator (DNO) Cloud, supports millions of customers globally. We also designed the leading eSIM travel product Nomad. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of integrating and launching LotusFlare DNO Cloud with a customer from kickoff to go-live, owning the technical relationship and guiding architecture decisions across security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
You will advocate for customers within LotusFlare to ensure successful project progression and inform the roadmap of DNO Cloud capabilities and functions. You will ensure project goals are met, communicate with senior leadership (customers and LotusFlare), and connect technology to tangible business outcomes for customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with customers from kickoff to go-live, including recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Advocate for customers within LotusFlare to ensure successful project progression and inform the DNO Cloud roadmap.
- Ensure project goals are met and customer expectations are fulfilled; translate technology into tangible business outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, both written and verbal.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with customer goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Technical Program Management, or a similar technical leadership role.
- 3-5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle as a software engineer or solution architect.
- 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Proficient in API design, client-server interaction design, and cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Telecommunication architecture experience across IT and Core domains (OCS/PS/CS) to design and scale solutions.
- Experience delivering products against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and often ambiguous environment.
- Ability to design, plan, and execute technical projects independently.
- Ability to distill data and justify difficult trade-offs; understanding of service-oriented and digital technologies and their inter-dependencies.
- Understanding of systems within program space, including limitations, scaling, boundary conditions, and architectural decision-making.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical program management and engineering best practices.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable communicating cross-organizationally.
Pre-sales
- Deliver customized pre-sales technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Assist in developing RFI/RFP responses and drive to close new opportunities.
- Engage with potential customers to understand business objectives and demonstrate the value proposition of LF DNO platform.
Solution
- Collaborate with LotusFlare’s engineering team and customer technical teams to propose and help clients build deployable solutions.
Delivery
- Drive the technical delivery track, track delivery, manage change, and proactively resolve blockers.
- Manage UAT and production releases, and handover to support and operations teams.
- Act as a key interface between the customer and LotusFlare (product, engineering, support, and business).
- Support project management activities; document and address issues.
- Be part of a Global Delivery Team, sharing experiences and improving PM discipline: streamline processes, methods, and tools with creative ideas.
- Troubleshoot customer technical issues in real time.
- Create documentation and develop best practices to maximize customer value from the system.
