Job summary

Ex is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to manage data management projects for global clients, overseeing Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud work, with a preference for AWS.

You will lead offshore teams of Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI professionals, guiding planning, execution, and delivery while engaging with stakeholders to align on data requirements and risk mitigation. Strong governance and security practices are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in delivery leadership for data projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of data management, warehousing concepts, and ETL.
• Experience with modern cloud data stacks (AWS preferred).
• Insurance domain exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data Management and Data Engineering projects.
• Manage offshore delivery teams of Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI professionals.
• Oversee project planning, execution, QA, and timely delivery per client requirements.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to manage and deliver data management projects for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience overseeing Data Engineering teams, Data Warehousing, and Cloud (preferably AWS). Prior exposure to Insurance domain projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data Management and Data Engineering projects.
• Manage offshore delivery teams comprising Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI professionals.
• Oversee project planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery in alignment with client requirements.
• Provide technical direction and guidance on Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Cloud Data Solutions (AWS preferred).
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
• Ensure robust governance, compliance with best practices, and adherence to data security standards.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and onshore teams to design effective solutions.
• Proactively identify risks, define mitigation plans, and handle escalations related to delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement automation where possible to increase efficiency.
• Mentor team members and help build technical capability within the offshore delivery unit.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in a Delivery Lead or Project Management role for Data projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Data Management, Data Warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Proven experience managing Data Engineering teams working with modern cloud data stacks (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP is a plus).
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures – Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, and Big Data frameworks is desirable.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and project management best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in AWS Cloud, Data Engineering, or Project Management are desirable.
