Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Noida, India seeks an entry level Test Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will develop and execute tests based on technical requirements and client expectations, document defects, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Strong understanding of testing principles and exposure to automation tools is preferred.

Qualifications include a B.Tech/B.E. in a technical field and familiarity with SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, Python.
• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, regression and exploratory testing.
• Ability to design tests, report defects and document results.

What You Will Accomplish Here…

The Engineering team at GLI tests software and hardware designs that impact the products and services across all areas within the gambling industry. We are searching for an entry level Test Engineer in our Noida, India office to join our team. The Test Engineer’s main focus will be on the

following:

Efficiently Evaluating and Executing Tests by:

• Developing an understanding of technical requirements/regulations
• Developing an understanding of client’s expectations and additional testing requests
• Researching, identifying and applying any special rules or other requirements

• Accurately developing and executing test methods for technical and client requirements
• Effectively documenting test results and discovered defects
• Managing projects and tasks against budgets and timelines

Communicating and Coordinating with Clients by:

• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all assigned customers
• Maintaining an understanding of the customer's needs and market position
• Proactively communicating the status of testing with all relevant internal and external parties

Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree B. Tech/B.E. in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant technical discipline is required.
• Certification, formal training or experience may also be evaluated and considered in lieu of educational requirements, lieu of educational requirements
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of C++, Java, Python, or another modern programming language is preferred.
• Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Knowledge of test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and test documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines
• Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation.
