Test and perform mathematical analyses to calculate needed mathematical features of games.
Write programs or scripts to manipulate, parse or reorganize large data files into standard formats for testing.
Conduct and interpret statistical testing on game simulation results and on RNG data.
Read and interpret jurisdictional requirements, consulting appropriately for interpretation.
Review the work of others and provide constructive feedback.

Reviewing and Documenting

Read and modify programs and analyses developed by others to meet testing needs.
Review, understand, and document source code in various languages.
Write project reports by summarizing testing conducted and results.
Carefully review analysis work conducted by others for accuracy.

Communicating Externally and Internally

Work with external clients, communicating professionally on technical topics.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Math Department and other employees.

Experience, Education, Skills And Credentials

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
Associate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or 3+ years of equivalent experience may be considered.
Certification, formal training, or experience may be evaluated in lieu of educational requirements.
Knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and Combinatorics.
Knowledge of a modern, object-oriented programming language such as C++, including object-oriented design concepts.
Understanding of core programming concepts and techniques.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to a high degree of English.
Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
High attention to quality, details, and accuracy.
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation.
