Job summary

Deconstruct is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial reporting across the company. The role covers GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations with collaboration across departments.

The candidate will support month-end/year-end closes, budgeting, tax compliance, and audits, leveraging advanced TDS, GST, and Tally expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles with increasing responsibility.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Sr. VP overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, reconciliation, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts to maintain data integrity.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper allocation of expenses.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct financial and variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist in tax returns, compliance filings, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Handle Interbrand transactions, TDS rates and sections, GST transfers and calculations.
• Provide support during audits by gathering documentation and resolving discrepancies.
• Advanced working knowledge of TDS, State GST, Tally and B2C accounting.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting activities. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Sr. VP in overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, reconciliation, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial accounts on a regular basis to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and proper allocation of expenses.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
