Job summary

Elitecon International is seeking a Senior Manager Debt Syndication to lead debt fundraising for the Group. You will manage lender relationships, structure facilities and ensure timely execution of financing requirements.

The candidate should have 8–12+ years in debt syndication, corporate finance or investment banking, with strong experience in debt fundraising, banks/NBFCs, and project finance. CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) preferred; cross-functional coordination is essential.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in Debt Syndication, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Treasury or Financial Services.
  • Strong hands-on experience in debt fundraising and syndication transactions.
  • Proven track record with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and debt funds.
  • Good knowledge of term loans, working capital, project finance and structured debt.
  • Excellent financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction structuring.

  • Lead end-to-end debt syndication and fund-raising transactions across banks, NBFCs and financial institutions.
  • Structure and execute term loans, working capital facilities, project finance and other financing instruments.
  • Coordinate with lenders for sanctions, documentation and disbursement.
  • Manage lender relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely information to stakeholders.
  • Support credit processes, due diligence and debt optimisation initiatives.
  • Provide regular MIS and management reports on debt and fundraising activities.

Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Debt Syndication to lead and execute debt fundraising and financing transactions for the Group. The role will be responsible for managing relationships with banks and financial institutions, evaluating funding opportunities, structuring debt transactions and ensuring timely execution of financing requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Debt Syndication, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance and Fund Raising, with a proven ability to manage transactions from initial evaluation through closure.

Role & responsibilities
1. Debt Syndication & Fund Raising
  • Lead end-to-end debt syndication and fund-raising transactions across banks, NBFCs and financial institutions.
  • Identify suitable debt financing opportunities based on business and funding requirements.
  • Structure and execute term loans, working capital facilities, project finance, structured debt and other financing instruments.
  • Coordinate with lenders and financial institutions for sanctions, documentation and disbursement.
2. Debt Structuring & Financial Analysis
  • Evaluate funding requirements and develop appropriate debt structures.
  • Analyse financial statements, cash flows, credit metrics and repayment capacity.
  • Prepare financial models, funding proposals, information memorandums and lender presentations.
  • Assess interest costs, tenure, security, covenants and other financing terms.
3. Banking & Lender Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, debt funds and other lenders.
  • Negotiate commercial and financing terms including interest rates, fees, tenure, security and covenants.
  • Manage lender communication and ensure timely responses to information requirements.
4. Transaction Execution
  • Manage the complete transaction lifecycle from funding requirement assessment, lender identification and mandate to sanction, documentation and disbursement.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Business and other internal teams during transaction execution.
  • Work with external advisors, rating agencies and legal counsel wherever required.
  • Monitor transaction timelines and ensure smooth closure.
5. Credit & Risk Management
  • Understand lender credit requirements and proactively address potential concerns.
  • Support credit rating processes and lender due diligence.
  • Monitor debt covenants, security requirements and financing conditions.
  • Identify potential refinancing and debt optimisation opportunities.
6. Debt Portfolio & Treasury Support
  • Monitor the Group's debt profile, maturities, interest costs and repayment schedules.
  • Support refinancing and restructuring initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improvement of the overall debt structure.
  • Provide regular MIS and management reports on debt and fundraising activities.
Preferred candidate profile
  • 8-12+ years of relevant experience in Debt Syndication, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Treasury or Financial Services.
  • Strong hands-on experience in debt fundraising and syndication transactions.
  • Proven experience working with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and debt funds.
  • Strong understanding of term loans, working capital, project finance, structured debt and other debt instruments.
  • Excellent financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction structuring skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities.
  • Experience managing transactions from origination through financial closure.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flows, leverage, debt servicing and credit metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) preferred.
