Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an Early-career Low Code Junior Engineer to support design, build, testing, deployment, and support of low-code applications and automation solutions. You will work with Mendix, Power Platform, Appian, and cloud services under senior guidance to address business process needs.

The role focuses on developing technical skills across low code platforms, data integration, cloud services, and reporting, while maintaining quality and creating solution

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a low-code, automation, or related role.
• Experience delivering applications, workflows, dashboards, or automation solutions within project, product, or operational environments.
• Exposure to one or more low-code platforms (e.g., Mendix, Power Platform, Appian).
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS) and collaboration with business teams.

Profile: Early-career low code practitioner with 1-3 years of experience delivering low code, automation, or application solutions within project, product, operational, or transformation environments

Role Overview

The Low Code Junior Engineer is a delivery-focused practitioner who supports the design, build, testing, deployment, and support of low code applications and automation solutions. The role combines developing technical skills across low code platforms, application development, data integration, cloud services, and reporting with strong analytical capability and collaboration across teams. The individual is expected to contribute to low code delivery under the guidance of senior practitioners, maintain quality standards, and support the creation of solutions that address business process challenges and client needs.

Essential Non-Technical Skills

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work effectively with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify user needs, and provide updates on assigned tasks.
• Escalate issues and seek clarification where required.
• Communication: Communicate solution options, progress, risks, and technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders. Produce accurate documentation, user stories, and supporting materials.
• Analytical & Problem Solving: Investigate process and application issues and support root-cause analysis activities. Apply structured approaches to problem solving with guidance from senior team members.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with low code, data, technology, and business teams. Contribute positively to team objectives, knowledge sharing, and peer review activities.
• Business Awareness: Develop understanding of business processes, user journeys, organisational objectives, and relevant technology or regulatory considerations.
• Delivery Focus: Manage assigned tasks effectively and deliver work to agreed timelines and quality standards. Develop quality assurance skills across requirements, build, testing, and documentation deliverables.

Experience expectations

• 1-3 years of experience in a low code, application development, automation, data, or technology-related role.
• Experience supporting delivery of applications, workflows, dashboards, or automation solutions within project, product, or operational environments.
• Exposure to one or more low code development platforms such as Mendix, Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, or similar.
• Awareness of Copilot Studio and how conversational or AI-enabled experiences can support business processes.
• Experience working with business requirements, user stories, process diagrams, testing activities, and solution documentation.
• Knowledge and experience with data query or programming languages such as SQL, C#, Java, Python, or similar.
• Exposure to cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, environments, releases, version control, and basic software delivery practices.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks while seeking guidance when required.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop technical, delivery, and consulting skills.
