Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited is hiring a DCS Engineer for Power Plant projects, focusing on Boiler and Balance of Plant control systems. You will join a global project engineering and commissioning group, supporting DCS modernization and integration across sites.

The role requires 6–12 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering and commissioning of DCS systems for power plants, with travel to project sites in India and abroad.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering and commissioning of DCS systems for power plants.
• Strong knowledge of DCS control systems engineering and commissioning.
• Experience with thermal and combined cycle process controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a software engineering specialist for DCS modernization projects in large power plants (Boiler & Balance of Plant).
• Collaborate with global project engineering and commissioning teams for DCS systems.
• Travel to multiple project sites in India and abroad for customer interactions and final commissioning.
• Apply expertise in instrumentation, control engineering, and commissioning of DCS systems.

• You would be a Software Engineering specialist for DCS modernization projects for large power plants specially for Boiler and Balance of Plant.
• As part of your responsibility, you would contribute and become part of global project engineering & commissioning team for DCS systems.
• As part of your profile there would be requirement of travelling to many project sites in India and abroad for customer interactions and final commissioning of systems.
• You are a bachelor's in engineering with 6 to 12 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering and commissioning of DCS Systems for Power Plants.
• You've good knowledge of reputed DCS control systems Engineering and Commissioning.
• You've professional exposure to R&M of control system for Large Power plants.
• You have good experience with Thermal and Combined Cycle process controls.
