Job summary

Mcritical Infrastructure Consulting seeks an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day centre functions in Bengaluru. You will lead shift teams and coordinate incident response, maintenance, and environment controls to ensure uninterrupted service.

Candidates should have 10+ years in operations with 4+ years in large-scale Data Centre O&M, and a strong background in BMS, UPS/DG, HVAC, and safety systems. Hebbal, Bengaluru location; health insurance and PF are provided.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years total experience with at least 4 years in O&M of large-scale Data Centre infrastructure.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of civil, electrical, HVAC, LAN, safety and security systems in a large Data Centre.
• Experience with Data Centre-integrated Building Management Systems (BMS).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Data Centre operations and shift activities.
• Monitor service levels and ensure compliance with Data Centre SLAs.
• Handle escalations and coordinate timely resolution of Data Centre incidents.
• Ensure scheduled preventive, predictive and periodic maintenance of Data Centre infrastructure.
• Oversee HVAC, elevators and power systems, including UPS and DG sets.
• Maintain prescribed temperature, air quality and environmental conditions.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and physical security systems.
• Coordinate emergency drills and inspect fire alarms, sprinklers and extinguishers.
• Manage space utilisation and maintain Data Centre operational records.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech./B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering from a premier/recognised institute.

PMP Certification or MBA with specialisation in Operations from a premier institute is preferred.

Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including at least 4 years of hands‑on experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of large-scale Data Centre physical infrastructure.

• Operation and maintenance of civil, electrical, HVAC, LAN, safety and security systems in a large-scale Data Centre.
• Operation and maintenance of Data Centre-integrated Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Green Data Centre physical infrastructure design, implementation, operation and maintenance.
• UPS, DG sets, HVAC systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, incident management and technical troubleshooting.
• Managing shift operations, technical teams, vendors, service levels, SLAs and incident escalations.

Candidates with experience in UIDAI, government Data Centres, mission‑critical infrastructure or large-scale Data Centre O&M projects will be preferred.
