Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in India seeks a Database Administrator to manage Oracle databases, ensure high availability, security, and performance for critical business operations.

You will design, optimize, and troubleshoot databases, support development teams with efficient SQL and data models, and drive automation using Ansible. Mentoring developers and leading PoC initiatives are also expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Oracle database setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Ansible and automation tools.
• Proficiency in RMAN, expdp/impdp, Oracle RAC, Multitenancy, Data Guard, TDE, PL/SQL, and partitioning.
• Experience in FinTech or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

About this opportunity: At Ericsson, we invite you to join us in the role of Database Administrator (DBA), where you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing database systems while ensuring high availability, performance, data integrity, backup and recovery, and supporting reliable business and application operations.
