Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or release engineering with leadership.
• Strong expertise in Azure and AWS with CI/CD and IaC.
• Hands-on with Azure Functions, API Gateways, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor DevOps/Platform engineers; define standards and roadmap.
• Design automation for provisioning, deployments, testing, monitoring, operations.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Build secure, scalable cloud environments on Azure and AWS with IaC.
• Develop serverless solutions (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Event Grid, Service Bus).
• Configure API Gateways for security, governance, observability, lifecycle.

About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead with 10+ years of experience to drive the organization's DevOps, cloud, and release engineering strategy. Based in Bangalore (Hybrid), you will lead a team of DevOps engineers and build scalable automation, CI/CD, cloud, and platform solutions across Azure and AWS, enabling faster, secure, and reliable software delivery.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor DevOps/Platform engineers while defining DevOps standards, roadmap, and best practices.
• Design and enhance automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, testing, monitoring, and operations.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, including modern deployment strategies and pipeline-as-code practices.
• Build and operate secure, scalable cloud environments across Azure and AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Develop serverless and event-driven solutions using Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Event Grid, Service Bus, and related services.
• Configure and manage API Gateway platforms, ensuring security, governance, observability, and lifecycle management.
• Develop Python-based automation and platform tooling.
• Drive reliability, observability, security, DevSecOps, incident management, cloud governance, and cost optimization initiatives.

You will bring

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Release Engineering, including leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure & AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Functions, API Gateways, Python development, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, Git workflows, networking, security, and cloud governance.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Preferred: Certifications in Azure/AWS, exposure to GitOps, platform engineering, FinOps, configuration management tools, Agile practices, and regulated environments.
