Required Technical and professional Expertise

• experience in DB2 for z/OS Administration, including installation, configuration, data sharing,
• and SMP/E maintenance.
• Expertise in DB2 performance tuning, buffer pool optimization, SQL diagnostics, and database
• utilities (REORG, RUNSTATS, copy, RECOVER).
• Experience with disaster recovery planning, z/OS internals, SMF/RMF analysis, and problem
• determination.
• Knowledge of change and release management processes in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud
• management, including to cloud migrations.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• IBM Certified Database Administrator — Db2 for ZIOS certification.
• Experience with IBM Db2 Tools, OMEGAMON, BMC MainView, or CA Database Management
• solutions.
• Knowledge of automation tools (REXX, CLIST, Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (laC).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, z/OSMF, IBM Z, Parallel Sysplex, GDPS, and high-availabiity
• solutions.
• Experience with vulnerability management, Microsoft Active Directory, and ADFS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills in mission-
• critical enterprise environments.
