Job summary

Claidroid Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced DB2 Database Administrator to manage enterprise DB2 databases on Linux in a hybrid delivery model. The role focuses on administration, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for mission-critical client environments.

You will drive upgrades, automation with Ansible, and advanced troubleshooting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across locations in India and globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a DB2 UDB DBA.
• Strong hands-on experience with DB2 Administration on Linux.
• Strong experience in DB2 performance tuning and monitoring.
• Hands-on knowledge of backup and recovery.
• Experience with DB2 Explain and SQL access-plan optimization.
• Strong L3/L4 troubleshooting capabilities.
• Good knowledge of DB2 utilities such as Reorg, Runstats, Rebind, Load, Backup and Restore.
• Ansible experience is essential, including the ability to write or customize playbooks.
• Shell scripting knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with Dynatrace for database monitoring will be an advantage.

Role Overview

As a DB2 Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring and optimization of enterprise DB2 databases running on Linux.
