Job summary

One Story is seeking a DB specialist to design scalable SQL schemas for CRM and revenue modules, optimize high-traffic queries, and support end-to-end data pipelines across CRM, marketing, and finance systems. The role emphasizes governance and zero-downtime migrations, with a chance to influence data strategy in a fast-growing SaaS startup in India.

You'll work on Azure/AWS-based data environments, collaborate with data engineers, and contribute to real-time analytics and AI-driven forecasting.

Qualifications

• Must-Have SQL Server, PostgreSQL, T-SQL, and PL-SQL expertise.
• Experience designing scalable SQL schemas for CRM/revenue modules.
• ETL/ELT pipeline development and data governance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, normalized SQL schemas for core CRM and revenue operations modules.
• Write, tune, and debug complex T-SQL/PL-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support high-throughput workloads.
• Optimize query performance using execution plans, indexing strategies, and partitioning schemes.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build ETL/ELT pipelines that sync CRM, marketing, and finance data into warehouse environments.
• Implement data governance and audit logging policies to ensure compliance with internal SLAs and security standards.
• Support production DB environments — monitor performance, troubleshoot deadlocks, and execute schema migrations with zero downtime.

Our DB developers design, optimize, and maintain high-availability SQL environments that feed analytics dashboards, automated workflows, and AI-driven forecasting engines — all while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and sub-second query performance at scale.
