Intellicore Consulting Group in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Data & SQL Engineer to analyze, optimize, and rewrite legacy SQL applications, and to design robust database objects. You will model schemas, build ETL pipelines, and ensure security and governance while collaborating with software engineers for production support.

Preferred profile includes 4–8 years of experience, deep SQL mastery, cloud platform experience, and knowledge of NoSQL/NewSQL systems.

Qualificações

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in database design, optimization, and data warehousing.
• Strong SQL expertise across core relational platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of NoSQL/NewSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).

Responsabilidades

Role & responsibilities

Query & Code Optimization: Analyze, reverse-engineer, and rewrite poorly performing legacy SQL applications. Tune complex queries using advanced techniques like Common Table Expressions (CTEs), indexing strategies, and partitioning

Database Objects Architecture: Design and implement highly robust stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to automate workflows and business logic.

Data Modeling & Design: Author efficient Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) schemas, managing structural normalization, table constraints, and foreign key relationships

ETL & Data Warehousing: Design, build, and oversee comprehensive data warehouses. Establish secure Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines using platforms like SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.

Security & Governance: Configure database-level optimization for hardware I/O efficiency while enforcing tight role-level security, access controls, and auditable records.

Collaborative Support: Partner with software engineers to integrate application backends with relational layers, and provide ongoing Tier-3 production database support.

Preferred candidate profile

Exp- 4-8 Yrs

SQL Mastery: Deep expertise in one or more core relational platforms like Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Performance Tuning Tools: Proven experience utilizing system profiling engines, execution plans, and server resource analyzers to eliminate bottlenecks.

Cloud Data Platforms: Practical experience managing database ecosystems hosted across cloud spaces like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.

Modern Architectural Paradigms: High-level familiarity with modern NoSQL / NewSQL alternative systems (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Integration Ecosystems: Strong working command of code versioning standards (Git) and auxiliary programming tools like Python (Pandas) for script automation

Analytical Mindset: Sharp troubleshooting acumen to independently pinpoint and patch anomalies in high-stress production scenarios

Communication: Exceptional collaborative capacity to interface directly with stakeholders, data engineers, and administrative managers.
