Daycare Coordinator

Job Summary
The Daycare Coordinator at Kidzonia International Preschool is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the daycare program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and acting as a key point of contact for parents.
Key Responsibilities
Program Child Care Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily daycare routines and age-appropriate activities aligned with Kidzonia s educational philosophy
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for all children
- Monitor children s physical, emotional, and social development and address individual needs
Staff Supervision Support:
- Supervise daycare teachers, assistants, and support staff
- Assist with staff scheduling, orientation, and ongoing training
- Provide guidance, feedback, and performance support to ensure high-quality care
Parent Communication:
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians
- Communicate regularly regarding children s progress, behavior, and wellbeing
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly
Health, Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and school policies
- Maintain accurate records including attendance, incident reports, and child profiles
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and emergency procedures
Administration Coordination:
- Coordinate with school leadership on enrollment, staffing needs, and program improvements
- Assist in organizing school events, parent meetings, and daycare-related activities
- Manage supplies and resources for the daycare program
Qualifications Experience:
- Bachelor s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a daycare or preschool setting, preferably in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of early childhood development best practices
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
