Job summary

Delta Capita in Bangalore or Pune is seeking an experienced Database Engineering Lead (AVP) to drive the performance, stability and scalability of our Azure-based data platform. The role combines hands-on database engineering, cloud technologies and technical leadership.

You will lead the design, optimisation and operation of Report Hub's database platforms, push performance tuning and automation, mentor engineers and partner with Product, Engineering and Support to deliver a secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Strong SQL Server and Azure SQL expertise.
• Experience with Azure, DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven leadership within complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Financial services or regulatory reporting experience is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineering Lead (AVP) to drive the performance, stability and scalability of our Azure-based data platform. The role combines hands-on database engineering, cloud technologies and technical leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, optimisation and operation of Report Hub's database platforms.

• Drive performance tuning, resilience, automation and cloud adoption initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven technical leadership experience within complex enterprise environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Financial services or regulatory reporting experience would be advantageous.
