Job summary

Shashwath Solution in Pune is seeking a database developer with 5–10 years of experience to design, implement, and manage large-scale databases.

You will work with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, Oracle PL/SQL, perform data modeling and ETL, and optimize performance; collaborate in Agile teams and document architectures with Confluence and SmartDraw. Proficiency in Python with Pandas/NumPy and connectivity via SQLAlchemy and PyODBC is valued.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in database development or related field.
• Proven design, development and management of large-scale databases.
• Experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
• Architect, develop and maintain database objects (tables, views, procedures, functions, packages).
• Strong SQL skills with AWS RDS PostgreSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools (AWS Batch, AWS Glue).
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and Git.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch and Aurora scaling/replication.
• Documentation in Confluence and diagramming with SmartDraw.
• Proficient with Pandas/NumPy; SQLAlchemy and PyODBC for connectivity.
• Python programming; Agile/Scrum; English communication; Big Data, ML, NLP.

MUST HAVE
Performing complex relational databases queries using SQL (AWS RDS for PostgreSQL) and Oracle PLSQL

MUST HAVE
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (AWS Batch, AWS Glue etc) MUST HAVE
Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins Deployment, Git Repository MUST HAVE
Perform in performance tuning. Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime and improve maintenance of the databases to include rollouts, patching, and upgrades. Experience with Aurora's scaling and replication capabilities.

MUST HAVE
Proficiency with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring database performance and setting up alerts. Experience with performance tuning and optimization in AWS environments

MUST HAVE
Experience using Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Proficiency in using SmartDraw for creating database diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual representations of data models and processes.

MUST HAVE
Proficiency in using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation, analysis, and transformation. Experience with libraries like SQLAlchemy and PyODBC for connecting to and interacting with various databases.
