Responsibilities

• Design and program the database for enhancing existing features and new initiatives.
• Coordinate at second level with client technical and infrastructure team to configure infrastructure required for deployment.
• Deploy and configure database components of the Heckyl Application at client end for customized features required by each client as per contract.
• Maintain system, server and application security in compliance with client policies.
• Monitor overall health of processes involved in deployment to ensure systems are up and running.
• Monitor and optimize performance at Heckyl and its components deployed at client.
• Provide in‑house expertise and technical support to end‑users on database and software related issues.
• Support the company's application, database and infrastructure architecture.
• Plan and implement backup and recovery of database.
• Manage implementation of database consolidations.
• Backup and restore databases.
• Ensure availability of system storage and plan future storage requirements for database system.
• Plan, set up and deploy HA solutions.

Must Have

• Understanding of RDBMS basics.
• 3+ years’ experience with sound knowledge of SQL database.
• Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to SSIS or other ETL tools.

Nice‑to‑have

• Good working knowledge of MS‑Excel.
• Exposure to application and database design.

Hands‑on Experience In a Product Company

• Brokerage and/or financial industry exposure.
• Exposure to mutual funds trading application.
