Job summary

Quantela seeks an experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize large-scale enterprise databases. You will lead cross-DB environments (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL), ensuring performance, security, and high availability through robust backup/recovery strategies.

Strong PL/SQL knowledge and exposure to Java, PHP, and .NET are valued, along with standby database configurations and certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in database administration.
• Educational qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / MS or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL programming and exposure to Java, PHP, and .NET environments.
• Experience in standby database configuration, backup strategies, and recovery planning.
• Proven ability in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Relevant database administration certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end database administration activities across Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL environments.
• Perform database creation, configuration, modification, and deletion of databases, tables, and related objects.
• Handle database backup, restore, and recovery processes to ensure business continuity and data protection.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning and optimization strategies.

• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
