Job summary

3i Infotech Limited in Raipur, India seeks a Database administrator to manage end-to-end database operations, monitor growth, and optimize performance. The role involves handling changes to schemas, storage, and user roles, as well as tuning system parameters and managing SQL Server log shipping and replication between DC and DRC.

You will oversee BCV/second copy servers, monitor infrastructure, perform index rebuilds, and ensure minimal downtime during upgrades, with vendor coordination for

Responsibilities

• Undertake End-to-End Management of Database on an ongoing basis to ensure smooth functioning
• Undertake task including managing changes to database Scheme, disk space, storage and user role.
• Setting and Tuning System Parameters Administration and management of ODG ,MS-SQL Log Shipping ,Replication tool Between DC to DRC.
• Management of BCV/Second copy server at both DC-DRC Location by mounting and Testing thoroughly for respective databases.
• Monitoring and Managing growth of Infrastructure ,tables,indexes,Segments, partitions Etc.
• Database Monitoring ,Table alteration,Index Rebuild
• Table reorganization, Space and Redo Log Management
• Update Statistics,Check Database,Cleanup logs, and various standard Jobs scheduling and Monitoring
• Building appropiate Indexes, specifying large enough buffers and Catches ,aligning the Database Implementation with IT Infrastucture ,monitoring applications,reorganizing database etc.
• Manage Database upgrade ,patch upgrade as and when required with minimum downtime.
• FMS vendor is responsible to manage changes in database schemes,disk storage storage spaces and user roles.
