Job summary

F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG seeks a Data Transfer and Migration Lead to drive enterprise-scale data migration strategies for Mergers & Acquisitions projects. You will design scalable ETL/ELT architectures, mentor engineering teams, and ensure secure, compliant data transfers across complex systems.

You will partner with stakeholders, data owners, and leadership to align migration rules with Roche’s standards, driving operational resilience and data governance in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data migration, or enterprise data architecture within complex global environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT patterns for scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong understanding of interoperability across enterprise systems, including Veeva, SAP, ServiceNow and related ecosystems.
• Proven leadership of high-impact data migration/transformation projects with governance, security, and operational resilience.
• Ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience partnering with senior leadership on data strategy and execution.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, streaming technologies, or AI-enabled data capabilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities
